Heart of Eternity is an amazing story on several levels. It is a suspenseful romantic tale with a metaphysical touch that is hauntingly familiar yet refreshingly new, a testament to the unique style of writing by the author. The use of language is richly descriptive in conjuring up incredible mental imagery allowing the reader to be transported into the story. N. Jay has an uncanny ability to connect you with the characters through emotion and empathy. For her first novel, she shows a remarkable talent for conveying those feelings through words.
An excellent plot dealing with several issues, self-discovery, inner demons, overcoming your own fears along with a romance with plenty of twists and turns. The book is well executed in the flow, character development and pace offering compelling hooks keeping you enthralled as you can’t wait to get to the next page.
This is one of the best books I have read in a while. This is a good one, one that I recommend. I am excited to see further words by this talented and gifted writer.
